1. About us

Briggs & Co. is a trading name of Everyone Loves Donuts Ltd T/A The Unfounded, a company incorporated in Northern Ireland (company number NI740242), with its registered office at 1st Floor, 533 Saintfield Road, Carryduff, Belfast, Northern Ireland, BT8 8ES.

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Briggs & Co. platform available at briggsandco.ai (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. The Service

Briggs & Co. provides AI-powered advisory conversations through three distinct advisor characters. The Service is intended for business owners, founders, and entrepreneurs seeking strategic, creative, and content guidance.

The Service is not a substitute for professional legal, financial, medical, or regulated advice. Nothing provided through the Service constitutes professional advice of any kind. You should always seek independent professional advice before making significant business decisions.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By creating an account you confirm that you are 18 or older and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at support@briggsandco.ai if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or attempt to circumvent usage limits or payment systems.

4. Free trial

New users receive a 3-day free trial with full access to the Service. No payment details are required to start your trial. At the end of the trial period you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the Service.

5. Subscriptions and payment

Paid plans are available on a monthly subscription basis. Current pricing is displayed on our pricing page at briggsandco.ai/pricing. Prices are shown in GBP and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.

Subscriptions are processed through Stripe. By subscribing you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through Account Settings in the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

We reserve the right to adjust pricing with 30 days notice. We will notify you by email before any price change takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

6. Top-up credits

Top-up credits are available as one-time purchases. Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Credits do not expire but are tied to your account and cannot be transferred to another account.

7. Referral programme

You may share your unique referral code with other founders. When a referred user subscribes to a paid plan you will receive a £5 credit applied to your next invoice. Credits are applied automatically and cannot be exchanged for cash. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the referral programme at any time with reasonable notice.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or infringes third party rights
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying models or data
• Share account credentials or resell access to the Service
• Circumvent usage limits or payment requirements
• Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable law

9. Artificial intelligence disclaimer

The Service uses large language model AI technology. AI responses may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any AI-generated content.

You are responsible for verifying any information provided through the Service before acting on it. We are not liable for any decisions made in reliance on AI-generated content.

AI models may occasionally produce unexpected or inappropriate outputs. If you encounter such outputs please report them to support@briggsandco.ai.

10. Intellectual property

The Briggs & Co. platform, including its design, characters, code, and content, is owned by Everyone Loves Donuts Ltd and protected by intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our written permission.

Content you create using the Service remains yours. You grant us a limited licence to process and store your content for the purpose of providing the Service.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Everyone Loves Donuts Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email and by posting a notice in the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
